This week we carved our classroom pumpkin, made predictions on how many seeds were inside, and enjoyed cleaning out our pumpkin in our classroom sensory bin!
Some friends described our pumpkin cleaning as slimy, cold, yucky, smelly, gross and fun!

We also used our pumpkin seeds to practice our counting skills so that we can represent numbers to 10 using ten frames.
We are making predictions based on how many pom poms are inside our jar. Here are a few of our friends guesses:
C: 26
B: 40
A: 20
B: 26
A worked on adding two groups of numbers together during our afternoon play, while O worked hard on her counting skills as she practiced representing numbers using patterning links. Good job girls!

Thank you M for bringing in some fun Halloween decorations for our sensory bin!
I wonder how many eyeballs can fit inside a cup?
